Mindfulness-Based Financial Wellness is an innovative, yet pragmatic, program developed to help people bring more mindfulness to their financial lives.
Mindfulness supports our ability to navigate money, personal finance, and financial life with greater clarity, purpose, and effectiveness, while growing our capacity to manage stress and meet life’s challenges.
Practicing mindfulness empowers our ability to successfully apply the principles of wellness and financial wellness in ways that support learning, growth and development, and cultivate increased financial well-being and happiness throughout our life.
MBFW is an eight-week program with a one-day retreat developed to help you:
- Establish your own mindfulness practice
- Learn techniques to apply mindfulness to all aspects of your financial life
- Improve the overall quality of your life
MBFW classes are largely experiential, coupled with educational components, which help participants learn mindfulness first-hand and come to experience the benefits of mindfulness and its value to financial life directly.
Mindfulness-Based Financial Wellness Class Details:
Each of the eight weekly sessions last 2½ hours with one additional daylong session offered after the sixth week of the course. The daylong session provides participants the valuable opportunity to incorporate all they have learned into an extended practice period.
MBFW is a positive and affirming program conducted within a safe and engaging environment. The program asks for an ongoing personal commitment. As a participant, we request you attend each class, including the one-day retreat and to practice home assignments each day.
